At the same time, new studies have established a link between Dehydropyrimidine Dehydrogenase deficiency (DPD) and the toxicity of 5 Fluoro-Uracil, one of the most widely administered anti-cancer agents for the treatment of solid tumor cancer. To enable accurate analysis of uracil concentration in plasma, Alsachim has developed the essential labeled standards for this analysis.
